April is here and spring is really starting to show, which brings so much renewed energy back into our lives.
Spring is a time of new growth and clearing out the old to make way for the new; clearing away negativity and baggage. One of the easiest ways for you to do that on your own is by having a simple forgiveness practice.
I practice Ho’oponopono because it is such a powerful method of letting go of resentments, regrets, rejection, desires for revenge…just letting go to allow space for healing and the new to flourish.
On your own, you can use this forgiveness practice in your daily life:
1. Pull up the memories that have negative associations and write them down.
2. Repeat to yourself “I love you. I am sorry. Please forgive me. I thank you” to the memory, but also to yourself. This is a way of releasing the negative emotional energy from your memories.
By releasing regrets, rejections, resentment and negativity, you are allowing yourself to be present and move forward without the baggage of the past holding you back.
Be gentle with yourself. This is an on-going process and you may need to repeat it several times for stronger memories.
While this is a great process to take on your own, often working with a healer will create the results you need in a shorter timeframe, with faster breakthroughs. With the broad array of healing modalities I practice, I can intuit which method will best suit your needs and tailor a plan that works for you.
In addition to Ho’oponopono, Pranic Healing, Reiki, ThetaHealing® and Craniosacral Therapy, amongst others, can help clear away old resentments, regrets, pain and baggage, to make way for the best version of you to live your best future.
